4.  How are photos restored?

Photographs are scanned into the computer and restoration is done in stages with the Adobe Photoshop program.  Your original photo is left in tact and as is and a new photograph is printed with the changes.  This is less expensive and less timely than repairing the original photo.  The original can be stored in an acid free environment and saved while the new prints can be framed or set into scrapbook pages and enjoyed without worry of ruining them.
