2.  When should I buy art?

Art should be bought whenever a piece moves you.  Follow your instincts and buy when it feels right.  Some art collectors only buy work which is from artists who increase in value and pieces by well known artists with certificates of authenticity.  But the majority of collectors buy what they enjoy, what they want to see on their wall for a long time to come, what gives them pleasure to view.
