1.  Why should I buy art?

Art is not a necessity, it is a luxury.  While art can be bought as an investment, to resell after it increases in value, art is much more commonly bought for pleasure.  A great deal more can be gained from the enjoyment of a beautiful piece of art than from the money gained by selling a piece for profit.
