3.  How do I decide if a piece of art is worth the price?

The best way to determine the value of a piece of art is by your own feeling of what you are willing to pay to posses it.  Artists put a great deal of time, effort and emotion into creating their pieces and the cost of materials can differ immensely from what the piece is worth to the artist himself or to the collector.
